Science

The science program at CCHS seeks to not only promote an attitude of wonderment as we explore God's creation, but also to evaluate how humanity, both historically and presently, responds to the cultural mandate, so that we can continually explore what it means to live out our calling to a life of Christian stewardship.

9th Grade

History and Nature of Science/ Earth Science

10th Grade

Physical Science: structure of matter

11th Grade

Biology: cells, genetics and heredity

12th Grade

Environmental Studies: diversity, natural systems and stewardship

11th and 12th Grade Electives

Biology: human anatomy and physiology

 

Physics: motion and forces of nature  (*** this course is taught co-currently with pre-calculus)

Chemistry: chemical reactions and energy transformations
