Elementary Spanish Grades 2-5

Students have Spanish class two days a week. Almost all of the class is done in the target language....Spanish! The students are receiving a lot of comprehensible input, that is, they are hearing the language and understanding it through stories, actions, concrete examples and some translation. Little by little students are producing comprehensible output, communicating or producing meaningful language, through fun activities and projects.

2nd grade,4th quarter, take-home assignment
Second graders need to practice their vocabulary words at home, retell a story in Spanish, get a parent's signature on their sheet and return it to school before June 1st, 2010. Lost take-home sheet? Click on the above link and download it from my web page!

5th graders need to write a story in Spanish about their monsters. Students should hand this in to me as soon as possible because I will be editing their stories and giving them feedback on their writing.
