Are you looking for a for a week of fun, learning, exploration and SPANISH this summer? Join Ms. Goldsby and other students from the Twin Cities who want to learn, practice and/or continue their Spanish language skills. Whether you are new with the language or attend a Spanish immersion school, this is the place for you!
Entering grades 1-3 9:00 AM to noon
Entering grades 4-6 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Activities will include, but are not limited to:
- "traveling" to Spanish speaking countries with your very own passport
- Meeting native speakers
- Sports, activities and games in Spanish
- Theater and skits with costumes and props
- Songs and more!
*Please note that Mrs. Abbring, the art teacher at Calvin Christian is also hosting an art camp the same week. Attend one camp for a half-day, or come to both and stay the whole day. Materials and snacks are provided.

Mrs. Abbring grades 4-6 9:00 AM to noon $110 + $5 materials fee
Mrs. Abbring grades 1-3 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM $110 + $5 materials fee
*If you are attending both camps, please pack a sack lunch. We charge an additional $15 for the week to supervising campers from noon to 1:00 PM

Cara Goldsby (cgoldsby@calvinchristian.org). Ms. Goldsby teaches Spanish for grades 2-8 at Calvin Christian in Edina. She has her Minnesota teaching license for Elementary Education with specialties in Spanish and Social Studies. She is a graduate of Bethel University and has international experience in Mexico, Spain, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, Mauritania, China and many other countries. Languages are her passion and she loves sharing it with her students.
Katie Abbring (kabbring@calvinchristian.org). Mrs. Abbring teaches art for grades 1-12 at Calvin Christian elementary, middle, and high school.
