Experiential Learning

Experiential learning is one of the main classes at Calvin Christian High School.   Experiential learning is more than volunteer or workplace experience.   Experiential learning achieves a number of school aims and goals such as the following:

• Experiencing faith as the flundation of personal identity
• Developing the knowledge and attitudes needed to assume their role as developers and stewards of the earth
• Develop the knowledge and attitudes needed to be agents of peace and justice in society and culture
• Develop the interests and abilities needed to read, vie, and communicate effectively
• Develop the interests, knowledge, and abilities to enjoy mathematical thinking and use it to serve everyday and specialized purposes.
• Develop the interests, knowledge, and abilities to become engaged viewers, listeners, and participants in music, dance, theatre, and fine arts
