More than 30 delightful desserts were donated by Cities-wide restaurants and bakeries to be auctioned-off to dinner guests. The average winning bid per dessert was $100 -- raising more than $3,000 for the CCS Thrift Store.

Several of the more than 30 desserts donated from Cities-area restaurants and bakeries. The desserts were on display for guests so they could plan which ones they wanted to bid on during a live dessert auction.

Auctioneer Pat Brenna auctioned-off three desserts at a time in a live auction. Calvin Christian High School students "displayed' each dessert. Most students were also wearing clothing they purchased at the CCS Thrift Store "New To You Thriftique". The dessert live auction funds were raised in support of the Thrift Store.

Students from the CCS Blaine campus made beautiful stepping stones that decorated guest dinner tables and were available for purchase. More than half of the stepping stones were purchased prior to the event!

Principal of CCS Blaine campus Jack Shields displays one of the several stepping stones created and donated by Blaine students (under the direction of art teacher Deb Korman) for this year's Auction & Dinner event.
